Getting Started with SwiftGov
SwiftGov is an AI-native permitting and plan review platform for counties and municipalities. This page describes what to expect from purchase through go-live.
How deployment works
Every SwiftGov deployment is led by our implementation team. There is no software to install and no infrastructure to deploy in your environment.
- Kickoff and scoping. We meet with your department leadership to confirm review disciplines in scope (zoning, building, site and civil, utilities and right-of-way), identify systems of record, and set the deployment schedule.
- Code and ordinance ingestion. Our team encodes your jurisdiction's land development code, zoning ordinances, and adopted building codes into SwiftGov's knowledge layer. Reviews are grounded in your regulations, with citations to the governing code section.
- Configuration and internal validation. SwiftGov is configured to your workflows and validated against real applications during a testing period with your review staff. Internal reviewer tools are validated before any applicant-facing tools are enabled.
- Training and go-live. Reviewers are trained in the SwiftGov workspace, and the platform moves into production. Applicant-facing submission and status tools are enabled once your team is ready.
Deployment timelines vary with scope and can be as short as a few weeks.
