John Mirkin

John is a technology entrepreneur building AI systems for government. He applies his experience in law and public service to the legal, regulatory, and operational challenges of AI adoption, with a focus on governance, accountability, and professional oversight.

He previously worked with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Florida Attorney General’s Office. In private legal practice, he advised businesses and major real estate developers on corporate, intellectual property, real estate, and tax matters.

He holds a J.D. and an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he attended law school on a full-tuition scholarship, and a business degree from UMass Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management.

His expertise spans AI implementation in government, AI regulation and policy, and AI governance. He regularly speaks on these topics.
